Staying at Villa Alta felt like magic! The picturesque views, serene atmosphere, and honest Monti Pisani experience truly make it special. The kind staff like Monica made this trip unforgettable!

completely unimpressed by my stay. booked a luxurious suite but was shoved in a dark duplex room instead. total lack of air conditioning made sleepless nights absoluteley miserable. and where's the welcome gift? for goodness sake! i almost thought about giving a good review but just couldn’t deal with the mediocrity.

Wi-Fi was decent. the pool area was too crowded at times.

Getting to the hotel can be a hassle, especially given the narrow access road. larger vehicles might find it tricky. There are significant limitations on dining options, with no kitchen or bar on-site, forcing guests to rely on a nearby restaurant. Some rooms lack air conditioning, which could be uncomfortable during the warmer months. room configurations can be confusing, as evidenced by guests being placed in unexpected types of accommodations without notification in advance. The absence of clear communication on extra charges for children also left some guests feeling slightly dinged at checkout.

Each morning started beautifully with soft classical music playing during breakfast, surrounded by immaculate gardens, providing a fairytale atmosphere. The hotel staff stood out with their warm hospitality. Monica was especially helpful in addressing our needs and providing recommendations. Our room in the annex was spacious and comfortable, just the kind of cozy space I needed for relaxation. The pool area was pristine, a perfect spot to unwind after exploring the surrounding Tuscan countryside. a car is essential for exploring the area, as public transport options are quite limited, with the nearby train station having infrequent service. the dining options at the hotel could use expansion. the restaurant menu was somewhat limited, which was slightly disappointing given the quality of food.

villa alta is such a beautiful spot! the pool is awesome, and you can chill under the orange trees, super relaxing. staff were so nice to us, really felt like home! breakfast on the terrace with that view of the tuscan countryside was just perfect, made our morning special. ton of spots to take photos everywhere, it's like a fairytale!

The drive to the property is narrow and a bit rough!!! Limited dining options with no bar or kitchen on-site leads to dining limitations!!! Roaming about can be cumbersome due to the steep stairs!!! Lack of air conditioning in some rooms can lead to discomfort during hot weather!!!
